Translation agency

A translation agency such as LinguaTrans provides language services for companies and public and private institutions, as well as for individuals. It is made up of one or more project managers, who are responsible for dealing with clients’ requests for quotations, as well as assigning approved orders to translators. The translators may work as part of the staff under an employment contract or as freelancers; in both cases, they may work in the agency’s office or from their office.

It is not possible for a translation agency to have native translators on staff for all the language combinations it offers. That is why, translation agencies rely on a network of freelancers with whom they reach agreements on rates and deadlines.

LinguaTrans has been operating since 2008 as a translation agency with experience in managing projects of all kinds and an extensive network of trusted partners, not only for each language combination, but also for each specific text type. Although perfection does not exist, we try to come close by applying a meticulous quality system with double proofreading of texts. A typical project involves three professionals: a translator, a proofreader and a project manager, all of whom are involved in optimising the result: a target text that is faithful to the original, as well as correct, fluent, attractive and accurate.
